MATT CUTTS: Ho, ho, ho!
Happy holidays.
I just wanted to give you your annual holiday guilt trip to remind you, if you could install Chrome, next year, you won’t be cleaning malware off your in-laws’ home computer.
The other thing you might want to think about is two-factor authentication.
That way, whenever your friend or relative gets their email account hijacked, it won’t affect you.
And finally, you might want to think about doing backups.
I know it’s a little early for New Year’s resolutions, but if you can have the 3-2-1 system of backups, where you have three copies, two of them are something, one of them is off-site–anyway, make backups.
It’s really important that you not have your data in one place where a fire, or a bullet, or an earthquake, or a squid, a giant dinosaur, anything like that can bring down your data.
So be safe out there.
Have good holidays.
Quick Answer: Use Chrome, use Two-factor Authentication and do backups
